Driving Directions

From the North

Take Route 9 south through Tarrytown. Turn left at the traffic light onto Benedict Avenue. Continue through one blinking light and two traffic lights. After the second traffic light, turn left into the Hackley School campus and follow the campus map.

From New York City

From the East Side: Take the East River Drive (F.D.R.) and get on the Major Deegan (Interstate 87). Continuenorth until the exit for Saw Mill River Parkway. (continue directions from West Side Saw Mill River Parkway)

From the West Side: Take the West Side Drive to the Saw Mill River Parkway. Follow the Saw Mill north and take the exit which reads “Tarrytown 119” (Exit 21w). Turn right (west) on 119. Approximately one-half mile down the road (5 traf€c lights), turn right on Benedict Avenue, a road which forks up the hill. The school gate and sign are on the immediate right at the crest of the hill at the traf€c light. Turn right and follow the follow the campus map.

From the South, Southeast, East and Northeast

From the Sprain Brook Parkway, Bronx River Parkway, Connecticut Thruway/Interstate 95, the Merritt or Hutchinson River Parkways, Interstate 684 or the Saw Mill River Parkway: Take Route 287 Westbound. Turn off at Exit 1 for Tarrytown 119 and turn right (west) on 119. Approximately one-half mile down the road, turn right on Benedict Avenue, a road which forks up the hill. The school gate and sign are on the immediate right at the crest of the hill at the traffic light. Turn right and follow the campus map.

From West of the Hudson River

From Rockland County and Tappan Zee Bridge: Take the first exit after the toll booth (Tarrytown Route 9) when leaving the Tappan Zee Bridge. At the end of the exit ramp, turn right (north) on Route 9. Turn right at the fourth traffic light (Benedict Avenue). Continue through one blinking light and two traffic lights. After the second traffic light turn left into the Hackley campus and follow the campus map.
