Senior Pater P. and junior Henry B. both received Highest Honors for their performances on the National Greek Exam.

Ascanius: The Youth Classics Institute sponsors a creative writing competition called SCRIBO each year. Students can submit original work, in Latin, in the form of a short story, comic strip, or cartoon. These must be created independently with minimal assistance from the teacher.
  • Clark S., Georgia P., Irene K., Karina F., and Rohun R. all received medals for their contributions.
  • Irene and Karina had their work published on the SCRIBO cd and in the SCRIBO book; Karina’s short story was deemed the top in the school and earned a ribbon as well.
All Middle School and Upper School Latin students take the National Latin Exam in March, joining over 150,000 of their peers from the United States and many countries around the world, including the UK, Japan, Indonesia, Turkey, and Zimbabwe.
