Hackley Performing Arts Faculty to Conduct All-County Groups
Congratulations to Hackley String Orchestra Director Dr. Lauren Rigby and Jazz Bands Director Dr. Rafi Malkiel on being selected by the Westchester County School Music Association board to conduct All-County groups this year!
Dr. Rigby will be the conductor for the 2024 Intermediate All-County Orchestra in the spring. Participating string players from Westchester are selected based on NYSSMA auditions last spring. The concert will be March 9, 2024.
Dr. Malkiel will be the guest conductor for the All County "B" 2024 WCSMA Jazz Festival. The concert is scheduled for March 15, 2024, at the Hommocks Middle School in Larchmont, New York.
