Hackley School is an independent, college-preparatory, non-sectarian, day and boarding school for students in kindergarten through twelfth grade. Founded in 1899, it became co-educational in 1970. |

Additionally, a majority of Hackley juniors each year take both the AP English and AP American History exams. Other Hackley courses regularly allow students to successfully complete AP exams in Government, Art History, Modern European History and Economics.
