Congratulations Rand Otten ’90


On September 17, 2013, Rand Otten ’90 received the Distinguished Service Award from the Putnam Community Service Network for her passion for fundraising and increasing the profile of both PARC and Partners with PARC. Rand, an award-wining fundraiser and former journalist, is the Director of Development at PARC-Partner, Achieve, Reach, and Connect. She recently received the Katie O’Donnell Award of Excellence for Leadership from the Cold Spring Chamber of Commerce.

On September 17, 2013, Rand Otten ’90 received the Distinguished Service Award from the Putnam Community Service Network for her passion for fundraising and increasing the profile of both PARC and Partners with PARC.

Libby Pataki, Putnam County Tourism Director, former New York State First Lady, and (small world moment) former Hackley parent, was responsible for nominating Rand. She wrote, she understands people, places, and businesses and is a wiz at marketing and advertising. Rand is a remarkable, energetic woman who is dedicated to her profession and to her community.

Rand, an award-wining fundraiser and former journalist, is the Director of Development at PARC-Partner, Achieve, Reach, and Connect. She recently received the Katie O’Donnell Award of Excellence for Leadership from the Cold Spring Chamber of Commerce.

PARC is one of 50 chapters of NYSARC, Inc. (formally New York State Association for Retarded Children, Inc.), and is at the forefront in providing advocacy and programming for children and adults with developmental disabilities within Putnam County along with Northern Westchester and Southern Dutchess counties.
