Hackley Competes at Regional Science Olympiad

On Saturday, February 1, Hackley’s Science Olympiad team competed for the first time in the Lower Hudson Valley Regional Science Olympiad held at Byram Hills High School in Armonk, placing 16th in a field of 35 teams competing – an impressive effort for the team’s first competition. Sophomores Youssef A. and James M. placed first in the “Mission Possible” section of the competition, while other Hackley teams took 3rd, 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th in other portions of the overall competition.
