Hackley's small, cohesive boarding community is an integral part of campus life. In partnership with residential faculty, Hackley's boarders help shape the ethos of Hackley as more than a day school -- a community where people live, work, learn and play.
Boarders and their families can contact boarding directors Diane Remenar (914-366-2690) and Mark Green (914-366-2698) as needed with questions or concerns.
We're pleased to announce that Kevin Rea has accepted the position of Director of Boarding for the 2005-06 academic year. Kevin joined the Upper School English faculty in September 2004. Kevin has extensive experience in education, having taught English at St. Dunstan's College and Tonbridge School in England and having been head of the English Deparment at University College School in London. During his four years at Tonbridge, Kevin was a member of the boarding faculty, living on campus and supervising evening and weekend activities for the seventy boarders of Park House, one of the school's residential halls.
Tonbridge School, founded in 1533, has a long and rich history of residential life, and Kevin looks forward to building and enhancing Hackley's own tradition of boarding. He, his wife Jennifer and their young daughter Stella look forward to their move to the third floor.
