The Oaks

On Friday, April 23, 2021 in celebration of Earth Week, Head of School Michael Wirtz and K-12 HEAL (Hackley Earth Action League) representatives hosted a Chestnut Oak Dedication Ceremony on the quad. The Chestnut Oak was planted in memory of our beloved Old Oak.

Earlier in the week, HEAL students from each division reminisced about the Old Oak and looked forward to the planting of the Chestnut Oak in this video, while also sharing the history of Earth Day and ways we can all observe it.
