Lower School

LS After School Programs

Hackley Lower School offers Extended Day supervised care, enrichment learning, tutoring, and music lessons taught by Hackley Lower School faculty or by highly vetted outside service organizations. Program fees are billed through the Business Office on a monthly basis.
Extended Day
Children have the opportunity to complete homework and then play with other children from dismissal through 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 5 p.m. on Fridays under the supervision of Hackley teachers and staff each day as part of the Extended Day program.

Enrichment Clubs
Students may enroll each trimester for just one or two Enrichment Clubs or for a different club each day of the week, choosing from a wide range of subjects, such as chess, yoga, golf, fencing, soccer, art, Spanish, Lego construction, knitting, drama, nature exploration and more.

Music Institute
The Hackley Music Institute offers group and one-on-one lessons in all instruments, drama and voice — and at all levels. The Institute’s faculty members are professionally trained, working musicians and artists, many of whom have received national and international awards. The Institute provides a rare opportunity for our students to experience a connection between music instruction and a higher plane of music that only accomplished working musicians can bring. Lessons are taught on Hackley’s campus and can be arranged after school, depending upon each student’s schedule.
