Hackley Swimmers Continue to Make Waves

Veteran Hackley swim coach John Gillard continues to marvel at the strength and depth of this year's Hackley swim team. In a recent meet against powerhouse Brunswick (Boys) and Greenwich Academy (Girls) where eight pool records were established, Coach Gillard stated "I have never seen a faster high school meet."
Hackley played its part by setting two new pool records and a new school record. Seniors Garrett Towne (100 back) and Liam Bogart (200 IM) set pool records with respective times of 52.17 and 1.56.80. The boys 200 medley relay team (Garett, Aidan Wilson, Ryan Schaum and Liam) also shattered the school record with a new mark of 1.41.30.
