Hackley Student Recognized in Science Competition

Jasmine Bayrooti '18 has been named one of the Top 300 Scholars in the 2018 Regeneron Science Talent Search competition. Her research project, coming out of her independent study work with Hackley math teacher Keshena Richardson, was selected from more than 1,800 entries in this very competitive competition.  The recognition earns Jasmine a cash prize, as well as funds to support STEM-related programs at Hackley.
The Regeneron Science Talent Search, previously sponsored by Westinghouse and Intel, is the nation’s oldest and most prestigious science and mathematics competition for high school seniors.
