Athletes of the Weeks for April 16th are Bobby Hite ’18, Jimin Jung ’20, LiliAnna Khosrowshahi ’18 and Dana Van Buren ’19.
Bobby Hite ’18, Boys Lacrosse: Bobby had an outstanding game this past Friday as the boys lacrosse team defeated conference rival Riverdale 11-7. Bobby scored six goals and had three assists in the victory.
Jimin Jung ’20, Boys Golf: Jimin was the match medalist (lowest score) in the Hornets commanding 8-1 victory over Riverdale on Thursday of last week. Jimin’s 2 under par is the lowest score for him this season. The team is currently 5-0 on the season.
LiliAnna Khosrowshahi ’18, Girls Lacrosse: LiliAnna has been a dominant force on the Girls’ lacrosse team this spring. In the past three games she has scored 27 goals and added six assists. She currently leads the team with 41 goals through six contest.
Dana Van Buren ’19, Softball: Dana has been a major factor in the early season success of the softball team. So far this spring, Dana has recorded 59 strike-outs and boasts an impressive ERA of 1.42. Offensively Dana is batting .500, helping propel the team to a 5-1 record through six games.
