Career Strike Out Record Set at 450

Congratulations to Dana VanBuren ’19, who earned her 450th strike out in the 5/14 softball game against Horace Mann. Read on.

This accomplishment ranks her with the best softball pitchers to attend Hackley School. One of Dana’s top performances this year came on May 11, when she struck out 17 of 21 batters in a closely contested 1-0 win over Dalton, a remarkable effort.
