Three Hackley Teams Received NYSAIS Post-Season Bids
The bids were just released for the NYSAIS tournaments and three Hackley teams have made the tournament. Read on.
The Girls’ and Boys’ Lacrosse Teams and Softball Team have all been selected, and all three will host contests this Saturday. In addition, three athletes will compete in the NYSAIS tennis championship.
Both lacrosse teams received the #1 seed in the tournament and will have home field advantage until the championship game. The girls’ open up on Saturday playing Horace Mann at 11 AM with the boys’ playing Long Island Lutheran at 1 PM. If they advance, they will be home again on Monday both playing at 3:30 PM.

Girls’ softball received the #3 seed in the tournament which is very exciting as this is the first home NYSAIS contest Hackley has hosted in some time. They will be playing cross-county rival Holy Child at 11 AM on Saturday. If they advance, they will be playing at Randall’s Island on Monday at 3:30 PM.
In addition, for the first time in over 20 years Hackley will have three boys tennis players competing in the NYSAIS Championships. Anthony Johnson ’19 will be competing in the singles tournament with Anthony Pizzolatto ’21 and Rami Sumaida ’19 competing in the doubles tournament.
Brackets will be released via the bulletin on Friday. Congratulations to all the Hackley NYSAIS tournament qualifiers.
