Five Hackley Teams Compete in NYSAIS Championships

Hackley Golf, Softball, Boys and Girls Lacrosse, and and Track & Field will all compete on Wednesday, 5/23, for state championship honors. Read on.

Come out and cheer the teams on Wednesday:

The Golf team will be at Sunningdale for a 12:30 PM Shotgun start.
Track and Field will be at Ichan Stadium for a 1:30 PM start.
Hackley Softball defeated Dalton in extra innings, 10-8, this afternoon at Randall's Island to earn their way to the NYSAIS Championship game vs. Poly Prep at Manhattanville College, 3:30 PM.
Meanwhile, on the Hackley hilltop, the Girls Varsity Lacrosse team delivered a strong win over Holy Child, 12-8, and will face rival Rye Country Day School at Manhattanville College, 5:30 PM.
On the adjoining field, Boys Lacrosse pulled out an exciting 9-8 win over Riverdale with a double overtime goal by James Hirschberg. They face Fieldston, the team that shares this year's Ivy League title with Hackley, on Wednesday at 2:30 PM.
