Our Hack Gives Back drives in April were a great success, and we would like to thank everyone that contributed. Read On.
Clothing Drive
The clothing drive collected over 50 large bags of clothing that was later sorted by Hackley students and faculty and delivered to the Sharing Shelf, a clothing bank for children located in Port Chester.

GOALS Haiti Soccer Gear Collection Drive
The Hackley community donated 7 gym bags, 47 shirts, 14 pairs of shorts, 34 pairs of socks, 5 pairs of shin guards, 3 balls, 13 pairs of cleats or flats, and a few miscellaneous items. Everything was donated to GOALS Haiti, a multi-faceted, comprehensive NGO working in three separate remote villages surrounding the southern Haitian town of Leogane, seeks to advances youth leadership through soccer and education to create stronger, healthier communities in rural Haiti.

Gaming for a Cause
Our community generously donated 4 gaming consoles, 5 controllers, 148 video games, 1 flat screen LED 1080p 23 inch monitor, 1 Xbox 360 racing set up (steering wheel and pedals), 1 Xbox 360 memory unit, 1 Xbox 360 headset. These items will be given to Gaming for a Cause, an organization that will use them to set up gaming consoles in hospitals for sick children. The boys that organized the drive also set up a reflex game in the Grille Room for students to pay money to see who has the fastest reflexes. 46 students participated and the top three were 1st place: Edwin Garcia 98 ms, 2nd place: Jack Chen 122 ms, and 3rd place : Danny Casper 228 ms. That money as well as the money from an outside fundraiser will be sent to Gaming for a Cause as well.
