Track & Field Athletes Do Hackley Proud at Eastern Championships
Hackley Track & Field athletes had strong performances at the Eastern Championships held at Iona College this past weekend. Read on for highlights.
• Ismene Germanakos ‘19 was crowned Eastern Javelin champion with a new school record throw of 119’3”.
• Josh Saha ’20 placed 3rd overall in 400m Hurdles running a time of 59.27.
• Kiki Abbey ’21 finished 4th in the 200m (26.86) and 5th in the Triple Jump.
• Jasmyn Phillips ’21 had three top five finishes with a 2nd in the 100 Hurdles (17.11), a 5th in the Long Jump, and a 5th place in the 200m.
• Eve Spencer ’22 was 4th in the Steeple Chase (7.52.4).
• Olivia Curran ’19 placed 2nd place in the Mile (5.20.4)
• Will Crainer ’19 finished 4th in the Steeple Chase (7.04.3)
• Caroline Stevenson ’18 was 6th in the 800m.
• Shira Meer ’21 placed 6th in the 400m.
