Hispanic Heritage Month
Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated from September 15th-October 15th nationwide. All divisions at Hackley are participating with special activities.
• Lower School and MS & US Library exhibit featuring prominent Hispanic works and authors.
• MS Assembly presentation with 8th grade Spanish students in Ms. Randazzo’s class introducing Hispanic Heritage Month to Middle School Students.
• Grille Room Exhibit with LS, MS and US Spanish students’ contributions
• Videos celebrating and and educating students about Hispanic Heritage Month, discussed in classooms.
• Kahoot game (similar to Jeopardy) about Hispanic Heritage Month to be played in homerooms in the MS and US.
• US October Unity Meeting devoted to Hispanic Heritage Month and the issues currently facing Latinos in the US.
• Special food offerings in the dining halls celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month.
