Hackley Teams Compete in Championship Tournaments

Hackley Field Hockey won its fifth consecutive Ivy League title, and both the Girls and Boys Cross Country teams secured third place at Ivies on October 26.

Hackley Field Hockey, Girls Varsity Soccer, and Boys Varsity Soccer will compete in the NYSAIS tournament, beginning on 10/31.  Girls Tennis competed on 10/27&28, Football competes on 11/3, and Cross Country on 11/4.

Hackley Girls Varsity Tennis competed this weekend in the NYSAIS tournament at Cary Leeds Tennis Center. Kit Greenberg and Sadie Nipon made it to the finals. and Fiona Boettner and the doubles team of Leah Holmes and Maggie Broaddus lost in the semis to the eventual champions. Great performances by all!

NYSAIS Quarterfinal Round Games, October 31
Winners will compete in the semifinal round on Friday, 11/2. The championship games are scheduled for Sunday, 11/4. Watch the website and Hackley Facebook and Twitter for updates.

• Second seed Hackley Field Hockey will host Brearley on the south turf field at 2:30 PM.
• Hackley Girls Soccer, seeded 4th, will host Dalton on the north turf field, 2:30 PM.
• Hackley Boys Soccer, 6 seed, will play at Riverdale, 5:00 PM

Hackley Football hosts Hopkins Saturday evening, 11/3, for the Metropolitan Independent Football League Bowl Championship on Pickert Field, 6:00 PM.

Hackley Cross Country competes in the NYSAIS meet on Sunday, 11/4, at Van Cortlandt Park.
