Hackley Varsity Field Hockey

The Varsity Field Hockey Team had another successful season, winning the Ivy League Championship for the fifth straight season and for the sixth time in the past seven seasons.

The team went undefeated in the league and allowed only four league goals all season. The team was led by two standouts who hold career records on the Hilltop. Senior co- captain, Karina Bridger led the team in scoring for a second straight year with 24 goals and 9 assists. Her career total and Hackley record is a staggering 73 goals and 20 assists. Our other record holder is goalie Jenny Canoni ’20. She had 183 saves this season putting her career saves at an astronomical 547, with one year remaining. Colin Ives ’22 had 12 goals and Jessie Bard ’21 pitched in with seven. Overall, 13 players contributed a goal or assist this season. Senior co-captain Mirabel Mallett had an impressive season as a center midfielder, including the game winning goal in the NYSAIS semi-final game with just over one minute left in the second overtime.
