Resourcefulness in the Hackley Forest

After studying the dwellings of the Eastern Woodlands Native Americans, 3S students ventured out into the Hackley forest to find all the materials needed to build a chickee, wigwam, and longhouse.
Using visual examples, problem-solving strategies, and maintaining perseverance and resourcefulness, the students created small-scale versions of these housings in groups. Feel free to stop by room 210 in the Lower School to check them out.
