Westward!

Fourth grade students enjoyed participating in a Western Square Dance with their parents on January 11, part of their learning on Westward Expansion in the U.S,

Throughout the unit, students learned about the expeditions of Lewis and Clark, the Louisiana Purchase and the difficulties of travelling the Wilderness Road to get west. Many 4th graders had to use hats and bandanas to hide their identity as a Western bandit!
