Hackley 1000 Point Club
Senior Jordan Wade joined Hackley's elite group of basketball players to reach the 1000 point mark in points scored at the Winter Sting. Jordan is the 10th female athlete and the 18th athlete overall to reach this benchmark.
Her coach, Margaret Scarcella '84, was Hackley's first female athlete to earn the distinction, racking up a total of 2135 points by the end of her senior year, a total surpassed only by Caitlyn Leone (2384) in 2004.
The earliest recorded member of Hackley's 1000 point group is George Dalzell (1383 points) in 1963. The highest scoring male in Hackley's history is Danya Abrams '93 (1769 points), who went on to play Division I basketball at Boston College, played professionally in Europe, and is now a member of the Wentworth College coaching staff.
