LS Leads in Literacy!

The entire lower school gathered in the afternoon to share fun literacy activities, spanning events such as a caption contest, book pitch, bookmark decorating, authoring wordless books to QR code reading (LS teachers recorded themselves reading) to… library golf! More importantly, the LS students collected books that fit within LitWorld’s "Seven Strengths,” and children created book plaques that will be included with each donated text. The books will be donated to a school/nonprofit in need. This was a very successful event, due to the the parent volunteers and teacher support.
