Introducing Hackley's Rwanda Partnership

On April 25, the team of Hackley teachers who traveled to Rwanda as part of Hackley's longstanding partnership with two -- and now three -- schools there talked to Middle School students about their travels and the friends we have there.
The presentation began by reminding students that "Africa" is not a "country" -- and that the continent is comprised of 54 nations.  Students learned about our partnership with Green Hills Academy, Duha Complex School, and Maranatha School, about the wonderful welcome they received, and about the hope that Hackley students will be able to travel to Rwanda on Hackley trips in Upper School.  They showed pictures of the beautiful country side, and even told about their adventure into the rain forest where they met Silverback Gorilla "King Charles" and his family.
