The Debates Go On!
On the first weekend in April, Junior Ben Kirsch and Sophomore Zach Yusaf competed in the Georgetown “Virtual” Spring Invitational tournament conducted entirely online.
Hackley's Kirsch and Yusaf reached the quarters and were ranked 7 out of over 80 teams. Ben Kirsch was the top overall speaker (out of 160+) debaters, the first time ever a Public Forum Hackley debater earned this distinction at the Varsity level. Ben and Zach will be competing in the online Tournament of Champions later in April.
