Hackley's 8th Annual STEM Night

On March 11, the Lower, Middle, and Upper School divisions came together virtually to celebrate our 8th annual STEM Night.

The evening began with a keynote address by James Tumulty, PhD, who spoke with students about his work as a research biologist. His talk was followed by two sessions of workshops led by Upper School Advanced Physics, AP Physics, AP Biology, Advanced Biology, and Food and Power students, as well as Middle School Lego robotics students. Although this year Lower School students participated from home via Zoom, they were still able to engage in hands-on science and engineering activities as the Upper Schoolers created more than 300 kits specific to each workshop.
