Athletics Highlights #2
The Hackley Athletics fall season is well underway. The varsity teams are on a roll! The Girls’ Tennis team is undefeated and has not lost a match in five outings. Two new Athletes of the Week are introduced.
Athletes of the Week
Daniel Nuzum ’22, Varsity Football: Danny had an exceptional game on the gridiron to help lead Hackley to its first victory of the season. On offense, Dany rushed for 107 yards on 14 carries, had 3 receptions for 29 yards. On defense he had 4 tackles, 1 pass break up and 1 interception to help seal the victory.
Alex Schiller ’24, Girls’ Varsity Soccer: Alex is a big reason for the early success of the Girls’ Varsity Soccer team. As the goalkeeper, she has made numerous stops to keep the team in the game, including 21 saves in the last two contests.
