Four Hackley Students attended the Virtual Student Diversity Leadership Conference

This year Hackley student leaders were able to continue the tradition of attending the Student Diversity Leadership Conference despite its being held virtually.

The Hackley students partnered with Rye Country Day School students to have a few in-person meetings to book-end the virtual conference. On Monday evening, November 29, all the students were invited to Hackley’s Goodhue Memorial Hall to share their stories and discuss why they chose to attend SDLC. They also shared their individual and group goals. Friendships were made and stories were shared over a wonderful meal.

On Friday evening, December 3, the students reconvened at Rye Country Day School. They shared their experiences in a structured discussion, providing insights gained, lessons learned, and successes that they experienced over the course of the week while attending the virtual SDLC.
