Athletes of the Week
Theo Saujet ’22 (captain) and Teddy Roberts ’23 Boys’ Tennis: Playing in the 1 doubles spot this team has been instrumental to the success of the boys’ tennis team this season. Their 4-1 record in the regular season playing together has allowed the team to win every match they have played in.

Brooke Koffler ’25 Girls’ Lacrosse:  Brooke scored 9 goals and 1 assist in the two games in the last week of April, including 5 goals and 1 assist in Hackley’s one goal win over Holy Child. She also had a key forced turnover in the last 30 seconds of the game, checking the goalie from behind, to repossess the ball and solidify the victory. Brooke also had 4 draw controls in that game. She has scored a total of 26 goals and 20 assists so far this season.

Lila O’Brien ’23 Girls’ Lacrosse: Lila has been a dominant midfielder all season. In the past week, she has scored 4 goals and 4 assists and has been a key player on the draw control. Lila’s speed makes her an integral part of our transition game, and she is a strong defender, forcing turnovers in the defensive end and all over the field. She has scored a total of 26 goals and 15 assists this season.

Calista Santomero ’22 Girls’ Golf:  Playing her 5th season of Varsity Golf, Calista has gone undefeated in her first two matches playing in the #1 position. In the opener, in brutally cold conditions, she halved her match against a Sacred Heart senior slated to play Division I golf next year. Calista followed that up with a 2 and 1 victory against Riverdale.

Greg Reich ’22 Boys’ Golf: Greg recently shot a 37 against Hamden Hall, earning our only point in the match. He also shot a 44 in very tough conditions against Fieldston, which was the medalist and 4 shots clear of the next best score between the two teams.
