Boys’ Varsity Soccer Tops Trinity 3-0

Hackley Boys’ Varsity Soccer went on the road Friday to Randall’s Island to play league rival Trinity and got an important 3-0 victory.

Forward Dan Paridis ’23 scored on a breakaway off of a feed from Cliff Chapman ’24 at the 24-minute mark of the first half. In the second half, Chapman got on the board himself when he intercepted a clearance and dribbled past two defenders before slipping the ball to the far corner.

Paridis added a second goal on a perfect upper corner free kick from 23 yards out three minutes later.
John Churchill ’23 got the clean sheet in goal. 

The team now sits in first place in the Ivy League standing, with a league record of 9-3.
