Seniors Joseph, Abraham, Rao Represent Hackley at NYSPHSAA Wrestling Championships
Hackley seniors Cole Joseph, Liam Abraham, and Will Rao represented the Hornets at the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Wrestling Championships in Albany on Friday, Feb. 24, and Saturday, Feb. 25.
Joseph became only the second wrestler in Hackley history to be named All-State. He placed sixth in the NYSPHSAA Championships and went 42-8 on the season. Abraham finished in the top 12 with a 32-7 record on the season, and Rao got a win at Albany and went 1-2 for the day with a 21-11 season record.
The Wrestling team also had a great NYSAIS Championship earlier in the month, placing third out of 12 schools.
