Congratulations to Ethan Deng ’26 on winning the Presidential Research Award at the ACAP 8th Annual Science Fair!
Established by the Association of Chinese American Physicians, the competition aims to encourage young scientists who are considering biomedical science as a future career.
More than 80 contestants entered this year’s science fair, and the ACAP Science Committee noted that Ethan’s project, “Empowering Autism Support with Al: A Virtual Cyber Companion for Personalized Interaction” was “exceptionally impressive.”
Ethan has been working on this project as part of Hackley’s Independent Science Research Program with the guidance and support of Dr. Andrew Ying.
