In 2024, with the opening of the Allen Center for the Creative Arts and Technology, Hackley School completed the construction outlined in its most recent Master Plan. Over the past 18 years, the School has built a new Lower School, Middle School, Science Building, as well as the Walter C. Johnson Center for Health and Wellness, while continuing to invest in the historic core buildings dating back to its founding in 1899.

200+ Acres of Fields, Forest and Outdoor Learning
Beyond the developed 80 acres, Hackley’s campus includes more than 200 acres of open space dedicated to athletic fields and the Hackley Forest. This natural landscape features walking and cross country trails, camping platforms, outdoor classrooms, an orchard, an apiary and a deer exclusion zone used in the Science curriculum — offering students meaningful opportunities to engage in the environment.
