Hackley School
Yale senior Noah Tirschwell ’22 is among 32 American recipients of 2026 Rhodes Scholarships, one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious academic awards for graduate study.
Now a senior at Yale studying history and philosophy, Noah is a Phi Beta Kappa junior inductee, co-president of Yale’s Hillel Student Board, a peer tutor and an advocate for constructive dialogue on campus. He also helped lead Yale’s first-year outdoor orientation program on the Appalachian Trail. Noah’s next stop is Oxford, where he’ll pursue Master of Studies degrees in History and Jewish Studies.
At Hackley, Noah was Valedictorian of his class, earned both the Sherman Book Award and the Miller Bowls on Class Day, served on the Board of Magistrates and was a Hudson Scholars mentor. Read more from Yale here.
