Hackley alum and Korean confict veteran Dick Hodgson '51 visited with Hackley first graders as a follow up to their Veterans' Day letter writing project.
Jim Reilly '66, Hackley's most prominent football alumnus, arrived on the Hilltop in 1961 and excelled at sports winning numerous track awards. He was named captain of the football team his senior year. After graduating, Jim was a starting offensive tackle at the University of Notre Dame, where he played from 1966 to 1970. While at Notre Dame, he was named to the Kodak All-American team and to the College Sports Information Directors All-American team.

Arielle Stern (Class of ’16) came to visit the Independent Research students during her fall break from UPenn, and talked about her rich experiences at Regeneron, starting in their immunology lab, spending a summer in their genetics lab, and most recently working in bioinformatics.

We are pleased to announce our agreement with Local Live to livestream all home varsity contests held on the north and south turf as well as all home football contests this fall.
The Boys Varsity Soccer Team earned a statement victory 3-2 over three-peat Ivy League champions Riverdale, winning for the first time in six years on the infamous Riverdale field.
Hackley has signed on with a new service, Local Live, that allows us to offer live broadcasts of various contests on campus. We are launching the new service on 9/7 in conjunction with the Fall Sting.

Ali Kaminetsky ’12 recently launched Modern Picnic, a lunch bag company for women. Modern Picnic provides working women with a chic alternative to the traditional lunchbox with an insulated interior and vegan leather exterior.
Grant Urken ‘15, a junior at Bowdoin, won the NCAA Division III Men's Tennis singles championship, becoming the first Bowdoin tennis player to win an individual national championship in the school’s history. Grant won an impressive straight-set 6-3, 6-2 win over Jack Katzman of Claremont-Mudd-Scripps.

Hackley alumna and Forbes reporter, Maddie Berg ’11 returned to the Hilltop for TheDial’s senior send-off. Maddie was Senior Editor of The Dial at Hackley, and she credits her Dial experience for why she is a journalist now.
Allison Pataki '03's latest book, "Beauty in the Broken Places: A Memoir of Love, Faith, and Resilience." is a deeply moving memoir about Allison and her husband whose lives were changed in the blink of an eye, and the love that helped them rewrite their future. It has recieved rave reveiws from the press.
Artist Anna Adler '02's new art exhibit titled "Staying Still" is on display at Bethanay Arts Community, 40 Somerstown Road in Ossining, NY now through June 10. Every year more than 300 Hackley alumni volunteer their time and talents as class reps, mentors, and speakers.
