Hackley beats Horace Mann 64-45

Hackley beat Horace Mann 64-45 and moves to an overall record of 10-4 and 4-3 in the league. Hackley came out strong in the first quarter outscoring HM 15-9, and the hornets continued to do so in the second quarter outscoring them 18-13. This gave the hornets an 11-point lead going into the half. HM came out strong in the 3rd quarter putting up 15 points, but Hackley was able to match their 15 points. In the quarter Hackley pulled away outscoring HM 16-8. The hornets were led in scoring and rebounding by Maryrita Curucio having another double double on the night, recording 34 points and 15 rebounds! Sammy Mueller followed in scoring putting up 17 points, 7 rebounds, 4 steals, and 9 assists! Hackley will continue their league play on Wednesday January 27th at 4:30 at the Dalton School.
