Hackley Football: Decisive Win over League Rival

Offensively, the team was led by seniors Javon Coleman (187 yards rushing and 47 yards passing with two TD’s) and Will Waterhouse (16 carries for 117 yard and two TDs). Defensively, seniors Sam Goldberg and Mike Hoffman dominated throughout the game. Sam led the team in tackles with eight including three tackles for a loss and two QB sacks. Mike had five tackles with one tackle for a loss and a fumble recovery for a TD. This was an exceptionally important win for the Hornets as MKA or Hackley have shared or won the league title the first three years of the league’s existence.
