Hackley Swimmers Tearing Up Record Book
Hackley Swimming brought in an impressive win over Fieldston on December 20, with the Boys’ team winning 107-68 and the Girls’ team winning 100-72. At the meet, Hackley swimmers broke seven pool records, three school records and two league records. More...
Garrett Towne ’18 swam an automatic All-American time in the 100 backstroke (49.19), and delivered an impressive 50.00 in the 100 Fly --both are school, pool and league records. Garrett also broke the school and pool record in the 100 freestyle going 47.66.

Other individual pool records that fell included Yugo Tsukikawa ’20 in the 200 freestyle (1.43.71) and 500 Freestyle (4.37.40). The relays got in on the action as well with Boys 200 Freestyle relay going a new pool record of 1.35.46 (Towne, Aidan Wilson ‘20, Kyle Spencer ‘19, Liam Bogart ‘18), and the Boys 400 Freestyle relay added to the fun with a new pool mark of 3.24.35 (Garrett Towne, Thomas Sasso ‘20, Aidan Wilson, Yugo Tsukikawa). Amazing swims all around.
