Melissa Rodriguez '09 Takes Home Award at Festival of Cinema NYC

Melissa Rodriguez '09’s latest film Helado, which she wrote, directed, and filmed in Mexico City, had its New York premiere at Festival of Cinema NYC on August 11th.
She and her team took home the audience choice award. Helado is a thriller about a six-year-old girl growing up in Mexico during the 1960s forced to confront the traumas of her childhood in order to survive. CLICK HERE to watch the trailer.
