Hackley Posts Top Finishes in ISFL Fencing Tournament

Hackley hosted the Independent School Fencing League Team Tournament on Saturday, February 26th, and placed 1st for the day in Girls Epee, and 2nd in Boys’ Foil and Girls Foil. This event concludes the season for the league, which includes also RCDS, Hackley, Masters, Marymount, Chapin/Collegiate, Horace Mann, Portledge, and St. Ann’s, competing in Foil, Epee, and Sabre. Overall for the season, Hackley Girls’ Epee was named League Champion, undefeated at 10-0. Hackley placed 3rd in the league in Girls’ Foil, and 2nd in Boys’ Foil, 2nd in Boys’ Epee. Hackley fencer John DiLorenzo ’12 ranked 1st in personal standings in Boys’ Epee, and Khelsi Clarke ’11 and Angelina Xing ’13 ranked 1st and 2nd, respectively, in personal standings in Girls’ Epee.
