The Music Institute Mission

The Music Institute at Hackley School was created in 1974 to offer students the opportunity to receive musical instruction on campus in addition to our curricular music program. We serve the Hackley community by offering private and group music lessons. Musical study helps to enhance a child’s awareness and appreciation of the arts. The study of music in a serious and consistent manner also helps to encourage growth in self-expression and confidence. Our faculty arrange a course of study that is suited to each student’s individual needs and is designed to complement the music curriculum at Hackley School.
