Tuition and Fees

Upon receipt of the signed registration form, students will be registered for all three trimesters and billed for three lesson packages.

The business office will bill the first package in October along with a non-refundable $65.00 registration fee. The second package will be billed in January. The third package will be billed in March.

Lower School Lesson Packages

Students receive one lesson per week and lessons are priced in a package of eight.

30-minute private lessons: $400 recommended for K-2 only
40-minute private lessons: $544
60-minute private lessons: $800

Middle School Lesson Packages

Students receive one lesson per week and lessons are priced in a package of eight.

30-minute private lessons: $400 recommended for K-2 only
40-minute private lessons: $544
60-minute private lessons: $800
60-minute group Songbirds lessons: $400

Upper School Lesson Packages

Upper School students whose lessons are scheduled during the school day receive one or two lessons per each 7-day cycle and the lessons are priced in a package of eight.

Upper School students whose lessons are scheduled after school will receive one lesson per week and the lessons are priced in a package of eight.

Additional Lessons

The Music Institute bills for three packages of 8 lessons each, totaling 24 lessons. However, the school year has many more weeks than 24. The additional weeks are available to make up for absences, snow days, holidays, etc. Students with perfect attendance records may finish their lesson packages long before the school year ends; many such students naturally opt to continue lessons through the end of the school year. We wish to obtain your permission, though, before adding additional lessons beyond the original 24, and ask that you choose from one of the two following options:

Option 1: I would like my child to continue lessons throughout the school year. I am willing to pay for any additional lessons at the end of the year if the total number of lessons exceeds the 24 we contracted for.

Option 2: I would like my child to continue lessons throughout the year. However, I would like to be notified when my child is nearing the 24^th lesson. I will make a decision about continuing past 24 at that time.

Withdrawal Policy

A partial refund of tuition will be offered to students who withdraw before the third lesson of the first lesson package. No refund will be made after the third lesson of the first package. Students may withdraw between any lesson package
