Hackley beats Poly 21-11

Great team effort in the win.  Solid defense and pitching, smart aggressive base-running and timely hitting helped Hackley beat rival Poly Prep 21-11.

Sophia Carpiniello pitched 6 strong innings and had 3 hits, scored 2 runs, and had 4 Rbis
Gabbrielle Troya made some nice plays at shortstop and scored 3 runs
Jhordane McNab had a 2 RBI triple and scored 2 runs
Melanie Allen-Variano walked 3 times and scored 3 runs
Charlotte May had 2 singles and a double, scoring 4 times and knocking in 3 more.
Kristen Daly played great behind the plate, blocking a would-be run and tagging her out.  Kristen also had 3 singles, a SAC bunt and scored 3 runs.

Zhaneque Craig added an RBI single
Vivi Ren scored twice and played well in Leftfield
Mere Chaplin scored a run.
Tierra Jones was aggressive on the basepath-stealing 2 bases in one play.
Francesca Delia played very well defensively at firstbase.
