Thomas Lee '70 & Mike Whalen '70 featured in American Way

Former Hackley classmates Thomas Lee '70 & Mike Whalen '70, co-founders of the Morale Entertainment Foundation, are featured in American Way magazine for their part in the inaugural Carrier Classic where, on Veteran's Day (Nov. 11th), the Michigan State and University of North Carolina basketball teams will opened their seasons against one another. The article, "Carrier Classic Salutes Veterans", discusses this unique event where the two teams clashed on the flight deck of the USS Carl Vinson in front of about 7,000 people - including active-duty military, veterans and military-dependants.
