Down To The Wire
What an exciting way to start off the season! Unfortunately, Hackley lost by 1 at the sound of the buzzer. Gabby MezzaCappa hit a 2 pointer at the last second.
Hackley was able to maintain possession for the majority of the game.The girls worked hard under each basket and were able to rack up 18 rebounds total. Nur Sultan, Kristen Daly, Claire Descamps, and Gabby MezzaCappa each had 4-6 rebounds.
Offensively, the girls worked together and were able to take shots during each possession. Guards, Izzy Hayward and Colleen Jones put up points outside the paint, where as, Claire, Gabby, and Kristen racked up points down low.
Defensively, guards, Lucy Feidelson, Greer Levin, and Angela Mauri applied tough pressure and had multiple steals for our team.
The girls played their hearts out!
