Hackley Drops Season Opener to Horace Mann

Although they played a much better second half, the Hornets were unable to overcome the early 7-0 lead by Horace Mann. Freshman Lizzy Curland scored the first goal of the season. Classmates Claire Meyer and Greer Levin also had goals for Hackley. Freshmen Andrea McCree and Natalie Gustin each had an assist. Sophomore Catie Orlando made nine saves in 50 minutes of play. The girls take on Fieldston at Van Cortlandt Park on Monday, April 16th.
