Hackley's Post-AP Spanish Literature students spent the day at the Hispanic Society museum and library on November 29th, 2012. Students focused on the museum's collection of baroque art which provided them a visual context for their studies in Spanish Golden Age literature. El Greco, Murillo, Zurbarán and Velázquez were highlights among the painters they studied. The museum's Director of Education and Outreach, Andrea Ortuño also introduced them to works of Latin American colonial art.
