Impressive offensive display sees off Masters

In a non league contest the visit of Maasters to the North turf proved to be a good learning experience for the fast developing Hackley team who ran out comfortable victors.
Fernando Docters opened the scoring direct from a freekick 20 yards out and he was joined on the score shet by Sam Rinzler, Jarod Gerstein and Jackson Corrigan before halftime. Jacksons goal is an early contender for goal of the season since he caught the ball perfectly from 25 yards out and struck it into the upper ninety of the net without the goal keeper even reacting. The second half was more competitive as Masters showed more resolve to contest the midfield and pulled a goal back through a controversial penalty kick. Fernando notched his second goal midway through the second half to complete the scoring and the emphatic final score was a true refelction of the dominance demonstrated by the home team. Next up is Fall sting and the first night game under the new floodlights v Collegiate.
