Celebrating Chinese New Year

Middle School students from the Chinese and Art departments jointly developed posters to be displayed in the Grille Room as part of Hackley's celebration of Chinese New Year, or Spring Festival.

The student created art incorporated techniques tied into New Year, including calligraphy, traditional Chinese ink painting, and block printing. The works utilized traditional images and colors symbolizing New Year.
